Tiu Kelep Waterfall

Tiu Kelep Waterfall is a waterfall which is at the foot of Mount Rinjani. The location is close to Sendang Gile Waterfall. As an opening, Sendang Gile is a suitable tourist destination because it is close to the entrance. After you walk further, you will see a very stunning view of Tiu Kelep. The waterfall is famous for its beauty and is 42 meters high. In Sasak language, the waterfall means "Tiu" swimming pool and "Kelep" means flying. When combined, it could mean Flying Swimming Pool.

This is because there is foam flying around. Almost the same as other waterfall tours, the location is quite far inland with a very natural feel. Full of green moss and green plants around. It is very suitable for those of you who want to experience a waterfall with a natural feel. Apart from that, its location close to other tourist attractions in the Mount Rinjani area makes this waterfall worth a visit.

It's a shame that there are no facilities provided at Tiu Kelep Waterfall. You can only see the welcome sign and the waterfall itself. But in the future we don't know. Talking about facilities, you can find them in the Sendang Gile Waterfall area which is not far from Tiu Kelep Waterfall. There you can find small stalls that provide drinks and food. It could be said that Tiu Kelep is not the main tourist destination in the area, because there is Mount Rinjani which is the center of attention. Therefore, facilities can be found in the route area to the Mount Rinjani climbing point, such as accommodation, hotels, food stalls and transportation purposes.
